- Wash and soak chana for 7-8 hours. Wash again, add tea water, pinch soda and salt. Cook up-to 3 whistles or until cooked.
- In a pan take oil, add cumin once splutters add red chilly, bay leaf, and asaefotida. Add ginger garlic paste, saute it. Add onion paste and cook it.
- Once onion paste is cooked, add all dry spices. Add tomato paste and cook until oil released
- Add some mashed chana, and roast it. Add all chana, mix it nicely. add Aamchur, cholemasala.
