DIRECTIONS Combine oyster and soy sauces along with sesame oil, sugar and cornflour in a small bowl. Slice the beef into thin pieces and place into a bowl, then season with the light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and salt and freshly ground pepper. In a small bowl, mix the water or chicken broth, sugar and oyster sauce together and set aside.
