- Chop oninon, length ways in strips, Julien potatoes into sticks
- Add plain flour, cornflour, water, oninon, spices, potaoe, mix with hand, add salt. Make it extra battery so it gets crispy golden on outside.
- Set oil to very high heat, Deep fry mixture, use table spoon to spoon into wok, for 2-4 mins until golden, turn 1-2 times.
Drain on paper towels before serving. Sift the chickpea flour into a medium bowl. Mix in the coriander, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala and garlic. Make a well in the centre of the flour. Gradually pour the water into the well and mix to form a thick, smooth batter.
