- Prepare 1 onion
- Take 1 capsicum
- Prepare 1/2 cup cornflour

- Take 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- Make ready 4 tbsp Tomato sauce

Else while frying the chickpeas there will be a whole mess. After cooking the chickpeas, some cornflour along with red chili powder is added and everything is gently tossed so that the kabuli chana are coated well. After that one can deep fry or even shallow fry the chickpeas to make crisp. Easy and simple Chana Masala using raw chickpeas which are soaked overnight and then cooked with onion, tomatoes and spices.
Steps to make Chana chili:
- Dry coat the chickpeas with corn flour. Keep it aside for 10 mins
- In a pan add 2-4 tbsp oil and add ginger garlic paste to it. Saute it well. Add sliced onions and capsicum. Cook them on low flame for 5-7 mins
- Now add salt, red chili powder to it and mix well. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce and red chilli sauce and mix well. Add a little bit of water and cook it for 2- 4 mins.
- In another pan heat the oil to deep fry the chickpeas. Fry the chickpeas till they are golden brown.
- Now add this fried chickpeas to the sauces gravy and cook it on a low flame for 5-6 mins. Your tempting chana chili is ready to serve
After that one can deep fry or even shallow fry the chickpeas to make crisp.
